Question Regarding Marriage in Multiplayer

So, say my friend (whom is a farmhand on my save) wishes to marry someone. Does the bride/groom move in to the friends cabin or my house upon upgrading? Do I even need to upgrade the house for him to marry?

He upgrades his cabin to marry. The only upgrade Farmhands can't have is the cellar. The person also moves into their cabin

Yup, just like Sara said.
But you should know following:
In contrary to the host's spouse, the farmhand's spouse won't follow their normal shedule. ( like going to the saloon or visiting their parents house etc) In fact, they stay on the farm and I experienced that they even stop standing outside the farmhouse or at the outside are as soon as the host is married. (My husband only stays inside the cabin since the host married)

Maybe this will be fixed someday, I don't know but I sure do hope so.

Do the cabin upgrades cost as much as normal house upgrades? Do upgrades cost any more space on the farm? Because I put my friends cabin right next to my house (no tiles inbetween.)
