Suggestion: BANANAS!

As long as this game has multiple crops, it doesn't have yet bananas. C'mon, it's bananas! Everyone love bananas. I can't belive this game doesn't have them!

Now if seriously, this game lack of variety of crops. Are there gonna be more in the future?

I'm drinking it right now :D yes, tea in SW would be also nice. With tea bush affected by Farming skill, and some wild herbs, affected by Foraging skill

I can't imagine it would be "too hard" to add banana trees to the game, even if it's just a modder doing it. We already have coconut trees, so they could just let us grow those on the beach in SV, along with banana trees - maybe have the traveling cart sell banana saplings?

Any additional crops would most likely rely on modding community, as CA surely doesn't want to be chained to developing Stardew Valley for the rest of his life, and there are literally tens if not hundreds of thousands of crops people could "suggest" for him to add.

E.G., "You added bananas but not rambutans or jackfruit or papayas?! You monster!" ;)

Sure thing Eric can't dev SW forever, but for now he just got started, SW is all he deving as far as i know
And you saying about mods. Is this game has mod supporting as good as bethesda games?

And since these are all tropical fruits, they would have to be grown in the greenhouse.

Tree crops like bananas, mangos and coconuts could be purchased as saplings and grown around the border.

And bush crops like pineapple and tea could be grown in the center section. There would require watering.

Also, what about breadfruit and durian?

And I would like to be able to plant juniper trees and harvest juniper berries, which I could put in a keg and make gin. These could take the winter, so they could grow outside the greenhouse.

I would also like to see chinchillas in the coops. They wouldn't necessarily drop any wool lke bunnies do, but when they reach a certain age, you could sell them for cash. (We won't talk about what happens to them when you sell them.)

Finally, how about marijuana? You would have to plant it in the greenhouse to keep it out of sight, but you could combine it with flour and sugar to make some dynamite brownies or dry it and sell it to Lewis, who has the network to distribute it. Or make rope.

Yeah...I guess that wouldn't fit in, since the game is pegi 7 (7 years or higher, in my country) aand given that weed is illegal in many countries.
Besides, there is no such things like crime in this happy little town. (and it would be considered as crime by some of those players living in such countries, including myself)
