Help With Save files

Im trying to load my old stardew vally save file on my new pc but for some reason it dosent work
this is what i see is this

when im trying to click on it but it just crashed and brings me back to the chucke fish logo

You need to opt back into beta if your previous save files on your old computer were in beta.

and how do i do that? all i know is that the save file is from version 1.3.9

the same way u got into beta with that save file from the start just insert the code again

Okay, hold on, at least answer yes or no if you were OPT into beta in those previous save file(s).

If no, I have no idea what's wrong with your game file because most reasons with your character being bald, 0 playtime and 500g only means you are trying to load up a file with beta content saved on it to load into 1.2 Stardew which is the current version of the game without beta. Beta is 1.3 version.

lol bruh, it's a simple fix.

In your Steam library > right-click on Stardew Valley > Properties > BETAS > Underneath "Enter access code to unlock private betas" type in the code "jumpingjuminos" > make sure you use the drop down menu and select "beta - Help test new updates before they go live!"

That's literally just it. Don't make it complicated for yourself.

Hey i'm having this same problem except I never switched computers, would this still work?

This didn't work and I am having nearly the same issue,the only difference I have from this is that they are all in Beta v1.3 and I've only used one computer.
