Is there any way to keep soil tilled without planting anything?
Can't plant anything because the season is almost over + no seeds that grow between both spring and summer are being sold, any suggestions?

not what I was asking. I'm not looking for cash, I'm looking to keep my soil tilled and the only way that I know is to plant something.

I don't think so, unfortunately.

That's something I'd also like to know. Plants that have more than one harvest help with that, as you can just let them die and cut them with the scythe once the new season starts. Aside from that, if it's from summer to fall you could plant something cheap/fast and multiseasonal, like wheat, to hold. That does make you potentially lose a few days of the next season with the soil occupied with wheat instead of whatever else you wanted to plant.

That first suggestion is pretty good, because strawberries can stay planted and I'm pretty sure they're worth more than cauliflower. I'll try that, but I don't know what I'll do for summer and fall. Might just do the wheat thing since I already need to grow some for the community center.

If this is your first time playing the game, blueberries are cramberries are multiple harvest plants for summer and fall, respectively. And unlike strawberry, they are sold at Pierre's on the first day of the month. And they are actually great money makers too. What I do is, if I'm completing the community center, set them up as my main cash crop and then just plant as much of the other ones as I need for bundles, gifts and so on.

I appreciate the advice, but I'm not really that new, though I'm still quite dumb even with 100 hours lol. I'm just gonna plant wheat and starberries. Wheat is perfect since I always get my last crop on the 25th when I'm growing stuff like pumpkins and melons, so it'll be ready on the first of fall for me to sell and buy pumpkin seeds.

mmm there used to be a mod for that, but im not sure if its still up to date. it kept the soil , once it was tilled, tilled. you could try to find it at nexus mod, maybe its still existent.

I usually keep them tilled by watering the soil. I forget if it'll work when the seasons change, but I do know it works when I don't have anything in the ground on that season
