Yup. I wouldn't say I get them from monsters "all the time", but it's frequent enough. Considering how many dust sprites can show up on the mine, 50 is not that many. Just keep trying and you will get one eventually. And all you need is one, because each coffe plant will give you severall more every other day, so your coffe plantation should grow itself rather quickly.
Edit: The added benefit of farming dust sprites is the coal they drop and the rather nice ring you get as a reward for slaying 500.
I don't think coffe is a good use of my kegs (I'd rather use them for wine), so I keep 2 kegs inside my house that I use for coffe making, and sell most of the excess beans. I then use the coffe to move faster and as a gift, as pretty much every villager at least likes it.
well, in my opinion selling coffee isnt worth it. 1 bean can be sold for min 15g, max 22g approximately. 1 coffee can be sold for 150g, you need 5 beans for each coffee.
just brew up some coffee for your personal use and get the 300 shipment achievement. i wouldnt really bother to do more with coffee.
If you manage to get some early with Kegs unlocked, they are worth it for the quick money it brings in the early months.
I always keep a stack of 200 on me to gift and get the speed, especially in the caves.
