Dinosaur egg disappeared
It's not me, but a friend of mine was playing stardew valley.
She got a dinosaur egg and plopped it in her incubator.
She forgot about it for like a season, she did feed her chickens, but when she remembered it she of course noticed a lack of dinosaur and dinosaur egg in incubator.
It just seems to have disappeared from existance.
I know about the catalogue thing, so I have told her she could do that. If that still works.

I am just confused cause I can't seem to find a case like it anywhere.
Does any of this seem familiar?

Did she really wait an entire season? It's possible the shift between seasons might've just deleted it if she forgot to pick it back up. That's the only thing I can think of though, don't have any experience with incubators

the other question is did she feed the chickens daily becous if she did go into the coop it should have hatched

Sounds like it could be some kind of bug in the game, which would be best posted here.

It could also be if she already has too many chickens in the coop which cancels out the egg being hatched and sometimes just gets rid of the egg entirely.

There might have been a shift in season, but shouldn't the dinosaur have appeared then? Also she didn't have too many chickens, she had a big coop but only 5 chickens.
