Befriending Krobus??

Ive been giving him diamonds, 3 to be exact, and Im not gaining any hearts? He responds with its a great honor to recieve the gift... is he unable to be your friend in the game?

You can raise hearts with Krobus, though you do not get any benefits or cut scenes by befriending the ghostly fellow.

A heart is 250 points, and a loved gift is 80, so 3 diamonds would net you 240 points. Talking to him should net you 20 points, though, so if you've been doing that too, you should have at least one heart >.> Unless you're getting tripped up by friendship decay ( -2 points every day that you don't interact), and sometimes Krobus is unavailable to talk to, which is annoying.

I just gave him the Wild Horseradish that I had foraged in Spring and thats on his 'Loves' list too, nothing so fancy as Diamonds ;) No issues there and gaining reputation. If I remember it did take a few gifts for me to start seeing his gains though so just stick with it and you'll get there eventually.

Forget about Krobus until you get Void Chicken. Then give him golden\iridium void eggs and he will be friends with you in no time.
