Can't stop running

I see many people have had this a few years ago. However, I see that I am the only one recently. I opened the game and I have even reinstalled it. I am always running and also I can't open my inventory. Some help would be appreciated.

UPDATE: It is fixed now. But I bet it will happen again.

Isn't run the default way of moving? I thought we had to press a button to walk. But the "can't open the menu" part might be more problematic. Since you've reinstalled, I assume it counts as a massive "check for invalid files". I believe this game has a kind of log files you could check...?

Try and see if something is shown, there. If not, I'm really not certain about how to help.

Yeah it is the default way of moving but, I can't control where I want to go. I am moving without touching my controls. I could not find any errors.

So it's like... You're stuck running without stopping? Did you try to unplug either your controller or your keyboard. I know I saw it happen elsewhere where controller caused a similar problem...

It happens to me occasionally. I'm not sure what triggers it. Usually I tweak keys and actions and it goes away, although sometimes I've had to reload the game.

It doesn't happen to me often enough to be something I think of as a problem though, just a once-in-a-while thing.

Yeah. It went away after awhile of closing the game. very strange.
