A question about my co-op save
Hello all, we were playing co-op 3 people. One of my friends has some stuff to do and can't play with us. My question is that can my friend and I play the save and the other friend join later without save is being ruined for him? Or can I copy the save manually and play like it's a diffirent save?

You can absolutely play without one of the farmhands. I'm not sure if his friendship with the NPC's will decay over time if he's not playing? I assume it will. And he may miss some festivals and some seasons, but he won't lose any of the progress he's made as far as skills or quests or anything. Think of it as him basically going into stasis in the game.

... Unless he was the one hosting. Then you're probably out of luck. :P

Fortunately, I'm the one hosting the game. Since it's our first run, we're mostly trying to figure out elements of the game. We don't pay a lot of attention to items you mentioned anyway. We'll be good in that case. Thanks for the info.

The only one needed to play is the host. Just remember to water their crops for them and they shouldn't mind. Only downside would be if they miss the birthday of someone they're trying to befriend/romance, or if they come back and you stole all their bars or something that they were saving.

Our farm and bars what so ever are shared.

Alright. Well not everyone's like that. :P Some people have their farmhands live across the farm from them and trade resources freely. "Can I steal 7 gold bars from you?" "Yeah that's fine, do you have any spare wood?"

I haven't played a farm where they're all bunched together. I'm sure it's fun, but I prefer more independence, and communication for "trading".

We live communism in our farm. Yours is more like a liberal farm, isn't it?

... I don't think you know what those words mean, my guy.

I've got one multiplayer farm where we split it 50/50 down the middle and another co-op challenge farm where only one player mines, and only one player does foraging/farming. It's fun to mix it up.

I can't even imagine what you think "liberal farm" means?
