Bee houses and flowers

Does each house need its own flower to polinate from or can multiple houses polinate from the same flower?

Each bee house does not need its own flower. Multiple bee houses can use one flower, just needs to be in range of the bee house.

From Stardew Valley wiki: With the exception of Crocus, Sunflower, and Sweet Pea, the Bee House can produce unique types of honey when it is in range of a blooming flower (within 5 tiles horizontally, 4 tiles vertically-a diamond shaped area). When there is more than one type of flower within range, the closest flower takes priority. At equal distance, the most expensive flower takes priority.

generally i'd advise several flowers. but flowers project an area of pollination similiar to the area of protection from a scarecrow or the blase radius of a mega bomb.

yeah I know, i was experimenting a few days ago and noticed how easy it is to bop out the flower; i'm going to try fencing the flower in by the houses to prevent that.

If your layout can spare it, you can plop down a normal sprinkler (not quality, unless you really want to) and place 3 flowers around it, with a scarecrow on the 4th sprinkler point. Then surround it with beehives.

If you check the wiki link here: https://stardewvalleywiki.com/Bee_House There is a Grid at the right bottom of the page that shows how far away a flower can be from any given Bee House. As long as you can still collect honey and it is still in range of the flower you can use 1 flower for multi Bee Houses.
