A way to make game NOT pause even when I'm simply shift-tab'ing?
It's kinda ridiculous. I need to wait for someone, maybe for the shop to open. Or maybe I need to se the bus go to calico desert for the 'th time. Or maybe I had to give present to fricking Sebastian, only to discover, that he leaves hit cave at 3 pm?

No matter what it is, I just have to sit, and blantly stare at the screen, while I could be doing like anything else. So, is there a way for the game to NOT pause every time it's not in focus?

You can disable it in the settings.

Doesn't really work, that's the thing. Meaning, that even with the option off, shift+tab still pauses the game.

I dunno, but you shouldn't really be idle for more than an hour... There's trees to chop down around Robin's house, there's a lake to fish in, you can run around and check the lake or train station for forage, you can go play in the mines for 2 hours...

Try switching the steam overlay to another hot key, I use numpad - for mine, the steam overlay may be causing the pause. If not, I would say don't use the overlay to pause, just click off the window (unless you have have fullscreen on) I don't use fullscreen so I'm not sure with that.

I tested the setting just now and mines working as intended.

Dunno what's with your game.

I remember getting frustrated with this recently when I was trying to test a nighttime-only thing. If it keeps pausing on the Steam overlay, you could try just minimizing.

Yeah, alt-tab works just fine.

I've never found myself with time to kill. I feel like you might be "doing it wrong" or just playing differently than I do. Carry a fishing pole or something. There's always something to be doing.
