Chicken Bug
I have had this chicken for almost three months and the game still says that the chicken is one month old... Is this status preventing my chicken from growing older?
Please fix this game dev...
Or if I am doing something wrong somehow then tell me what...

I've never seen that before. As long as the chicken is laying eggs, it probably doesn't matter the age. Now, if it was a chick that never turned into a chicken, that would definitely be a problem. :D

It has turned into a chicken. And its SPRING but the chicken has not layed any eggs since last fall

If your chicken isn't laying egg, you must be not taking care of it well.
If you don't have the deluxe coop yet, you still need to manually feed your chicken by taking out hay from the hay bin in the coop (not your silo) and putting it on the troughs.You also need to be tapping on your chicken everyday to give it affection, it will have a bubbled speech bubble with a heart. If it displays the opposite of it, (something that looks like black lines of scribbles), it will probably say your (chicken's name) is looking a little thin.Make sure you are cutting grass with a scythe to add hay into your silo or you can purcahse hay for 50g each from Marnie (down south) then toss the hay into the silo.

If that's not the issue then I really don't know what else too say.

Its eating the hay, no mods.
I went to see it every day and my silo is over half full. I let it outside and it is not winter. I actually came to the conclusion with a friend that the chicken is lonely and that I am supposed to get another chicken...

My first chicken was alone and it did lay eggs which then I tossed it into the incubator to get another.

Your chicken must be fked up lol

I mean, if you go and check on it, what does it say? Is it happy? Is it looking thin? Is it spooked? Is it grumpy?

it either says grumpy or thin. but no worries i got another chicken aswell as a duck and he is liking life again

Just watch this video of a player feeding a chicken as he calls himself stupid. I don't think you're chicken is being fed at all because you're not feeding them correctly.

Cutting grass will go into your silo but you have to take hay out of the hay stack and put it onto the troughs. I'm assuming you don't have the third upgrade aka deluxe which has an auto-feeder meaning you don't have to manually feed them but you still need to put hay into the silo.

omg just drop it. I know Im feeding them right. Im not going to watch this video because I know how to feed chickens. I am not an idiot. If the answer to my question is obvious, I DONT post a discussion about it. We already covered this whole matter so just drop it. *sigh*

Well honestly, I never was feeding my animals right so tbat was my problem before when i started playing.

People are trying help and dropping a hint that you're not an idiot is irrelevant to everyone's comments since nobody said you were one.
