Best crop for each season?
Hi I am currently in year 2 fall and growing pumkins. I have around 50 starfruit left with I think 30-50 kegs im too lazy to count. My ancient fruits are multiplying in my greenhouse so i have a feeling my kegs will be busy. My cellar is unlocked and i have 220000 gold to spare. I have around 220 tiles covered with sprinklers and idk what to plant for the 3 planting seasons. Some advice? ( I also have 8 preserve jars and can make more. Plus i could make more kegs just didnt get to doing it.)

Wait how do I use it? It says that ancient fruit has no profit...

sprinklers or quality sprinklers? more irridium sprinklers than you'd need.

I generally would suggest start the spring with a crop of potatoes, swap that over for strawberries after the festival, that way when summer comes on day one your field is all ready and watered for a crop of starfruit just use the scythe.

starfruit gives you a harvest which you can replant for 2 harvests, deluxe speed gro allows for 3 harvests technically.

if you have 220 quality sprinklers thats 2 1760 x2 or x3 starfruit. which if you turn into wine with artisan is over 10 Million gold, which is enough money to get things done.

fall comes yeah I generally just throw down pumpkins because pumpkins are cool, not because I need money.
I use quality sprinklers and I mean that they cover that much space not that I have that much of them

My entire greenhouse is covered with quality sprinklers what should i plant in there? I'm currently adding ancient fruit but It says only 49 g per day...

but summer just ended and I definately dont have enough starfruit what is the next best? Ancient fruit? Pumpkins?

Last I checked but cranberries are what you will want to focus on during fall for pure gold for normal fall crops.

It can vary if in use kegs / pickling jars obviously.

ancient fruit would be a bad idea for fall. it would die in winter before giving fruit.

you have a couple options.

Pumpkins are a good bet, for just harvesting or turning into pickles or juice.

both the juice and jam sell for around 1000 per pumpkin which seeds are around 100 so 900 profit, 2 harvests per season. so ~200,000 if you were going to pickle it

jars required, to manage in 28 days. ~50 jars.

wheat can be turned into beer or flour, and can be purchased for dirt cheap.
beer sells for 200, 280 with artisan. ~400,000 if you were going to brew it.
takes 2 days in the kegs

Kegs required to brew ~110

wheat buys for 10, sells for 50 as flour, which requires 1 mill. wheat flour gets you around 60,000

and beets apparently can be milled into sugar.

beets are 6 days, so 4 harvests seeds are 20. one beet makes 3 sugar in the mill which sells for 50x3 so ~110,000 for sugar.

so looks like pickled pumpkins are your best bet unless you want to brew beer which requires alor of kegs.
I meant the ancient fruit in my greenhouse. But ok then I will preserve jar the pumpkins and keg the remaining starfruit, hops, and coffee

Strawberries, Blueberries, Cranberries. All are good profits when making wine, and are multiple harvest, so no replanting needed.
For the Greenhouse, Ancient Fruit is best. Starfruit Wine gives more, but replanting means you don't get as many harvests/year, so has less profit over time.

I used the Train Station to farm trees for wood and Oak Resin to help mass produce kegs. You can plant a ton of trees there.

I've since moved my Oak trees to the quarry so I can fill another barn or two with kegs in the next year. I kinda overdid my crop plots (1032 for my 3rd year of crops) so need a few more keg barns to process everything.

If you want to amp up your harvests/production like that, you need to get a good tree farm going for wood, and a resin farm (this one is easier to do on your own farm). It's definately worthwhile so you can start affording those Wizard Buildings and things like the Return Scepter.
