Do I need to water matured flowers/crops?
All of my cauliflowers are grown and iam just waiting for them to turn to giant crops before the season ends and I wonder do I need to water them? if I dont will they wither away or wont turn to giant crops? What about flowers if I stop watering them will they wither away? Thanks.

single growth stuff like melons, flowers, kale, as soon as the + sign appears on them, they can be harvested and never need to be watered again

I disagree on this one.Because OP is looking to make giant crops, according to the wiki:

At the start of each day, every possible 3x3 grid of crops (including overlaps) has a 1% chance to grow into a giant crop as long as the center crop is watered and all constituent crops are fully-grown and of the same type. Giant crops won't necessarily appear on the day the crops finish growing, it can happen any day those criteria are met.

It sounds like if they want a giant cauliflower, they'll have to keep watering the field. Unless the wiki's wrong? I've never really tried for a giant crop before, but it was my understanding that they needed to keep being watered.
