Or click on the inventory (on the right side away from the chatbox) and use your the scroll button on your mouse to get to another item/tool. The mouse scroll skils unused spots, so will just scroll through items/tools.
Using 1, 2, 3 above Q, W, E will probably be faster though. Since your left hand will be on WASD for movement.
I do know. I couldn't feel less stupid. Every beta or early access will always have issues, I'm not opt into beta, lol
Keep in mind its only one guy who is working on Stardew.
I hope you are aware I didn't said anything about "I hate" this and that.
That's what I'm wondering, I kept hitting T, a real nuisance. But then I switched it to enter. I don't think Enter closes, but I know Escape does.
I'd love for the chat box to be like... only visible when you open the chat box, otherwise the words will just float in space for like 8-10 seconds, then vanish - but can be viewed again by opening the chat box. That's how it is in several games I play. The current chat box is huge and in the way of my bar, but it's never gotten me killed.
Another good addition would be a radial menu like some FPS games have, like say we hold down the H key then move the mouse and click a response. So within 2 seconds, you could say "On my way!" or "Heading to the mines" or some other common phrases. Either give us 2 menus with locations/phrases, or let us favorite some phrases to say. That'd be really useful.
