How can we get arcade machine in multiplayer?
Beating Journey of the Prarie King was always a fun challenge in Stardew Valley. However I ran into the problem that in multiplayer, the in-game time doesn't pause when playing it. The game is simply too long to beat/play within the hours the Saloon is open making the arcade machine for your house impossible to get.

I know this isn't nearly the biggest issue for everyone, but I'm having trouble even brainstorming ideas on how the devs could tackle this, if they so chose to down the road. Thoughts, ideas, opinions?

Me and my boys been talking about this

I honestly can't think of a solution
Presently, it's impossible to do through normal gameplay. The fastest recorded run is.. 17 minutes I believe? Maybe 15 minutes. I don't genuinely remember. Since the Saloon doesn't open until 12pm, there's not enough time in the day to do it.

That said. If you are the host, you could open the game in single player, beat Prairie king, get the arcade machine, sleep and save your game. Then load the game in multiplayer again.
You can pause the game as the host in some circumstances and still be able to do stuff, like shopping at pierres and fishing. Maybe you can pause during the arcade game and still play it.

Can use the timespeed mod and set the time inside of buildings to run slower than outdoors. This would theoretically give your farmhands more outdoor time to do whatever while you play prairie king but... oh well, that doesn't sap anything from the fun factor.
