Connection Failed?

Anyone have any fixes for the constant connection failed issues? It's only happening with me and my girlfriend. I can connect to anyone else on other farms, but her and I cannot connecto to each other at all.

Maybe your firewall (if you're using it) is causing an issue.

Well, it's certianlly on, but we both have Stardew Valley set to be allowed in both public and private connections.

My wife and i have been playing together and get disconnected often but that is most likely due to our terrible interent. However a problem we encountered due to it is she got disconnected while we were changing days and the game froze wating for her so i lost hte entires day work because i had to hard close the game and she couldn't rejoin mine without an invite.

I've noticed at least within other games that it doesn't seem to matter if firewall is enabled for both of those categories. It might be worth it to see how it does without firewall on.

You could also try restarting the router/modem of the person who's having connection issues. I had no trouble playing, but then started dropping (3+ times in one day)... so I left the game, rebooted my router and modem, and rejoined, and went back to no problems.
