black loading screen in multiplayer when joining
When my friend joins my game it shows that they have joined with their IP etc and I can see their character in game in bed however they are stuck in a Loading... black screen forever. Any fixes? I am playing on steam, she is on GOG.
We are connecting to eachother through LAN as her GOG account is pending to be unlocked.
She's also on MAC, I'm on windows 10.

Only thing I can think to check is to make sure your firewalls aren't blocking the game, and maybe have her try to uninstall and reinstall it. That's helped clear up a few other peoples' bugs, maybe it'll help with yours?
Happens to me on LAN as well. Usually, I have the other keep trying to join. If the day has progressed enough, it'll take longer to load. If someone is in the mine, it can take forever to load. If there is a compatibility error (one of you has a different version) then when she joins it'll crash you, so that isn't the issue.

Seemed to fix it when I changed wifi to "the cloud".
