Question about Friendship Decay?

According to stardewvalleywiki.com Each day, not talking to a villager will slightly decrease their friendship unless their heart meter is full.[stardewvalleywiki.com]. So does that mean if I max out everyones hearts their Friendship levels will never go down even if I don't talk to them again? Also if so does that work for people I give a bouquet to as well?

if you give them a bouquet and max it to 10 it won't decay.

if you don't give them a bouqet and max it to 8, it won't decay either, as that will count as max.

you can still lower their friendship through other means, but not talking to them will not lower their friendship, even if you never talk to them again.

With the new update, I suggest you don't level 10 them all unless you want a counterstrike right where it hurts... From what I've seen, you'll be hated if you do this. I heard it has funny stuff so I don't know for certain if it causes any serious damage or not. But otherwise, above is correct.

Heck you do NOT want to be caught with 10 hearts on all the datable people.
I did that about a month earlier (irl), came back when the update hit, and got hit with the sh*tstorm.

Can you get 10, then lower it and get 10 with another to avoid this? Or will it still happen?

I don't know enough to say but considering you need to give the flower bouquet to even reach 10, I think you cannot avoid it if you decide to go that path. That very dark path of hatred and pain.
