My Co-op Suggestion: Let people work on the farm even when the host is offline.
So I hosted the farm for my boyfriend to join, and he wanted to be able to work on the farm even when I was offline. He wanted to work on collecting ores to melt into bars so that we could upgrade our tools.
But it turns out that he couldn't do that... so I think there should be a shared co-op save file between the two of us, and we could end up taking turns being the host, etc.

I know this would proably create some problems between like four people, etc... so maybe there should also be a opition to enable or disable who gets to be the host, etc. But for a boyfriend/girlfriend team who just likes gaming together it shouldn't matter who's the host.

I'm sure at some point dedicated servers will be a thing. As for anyone taking over as a host, it doesn't really make sense in this game since your farms are a local file saved on your computer as part of your save.

You should be playing together.

Well, I was thinking something like an cloud save, which would solve that problem.

Eh, both of us already beat the game, so to speak. we've both did the bundles, etc on our own in seperate saves. So for us, we aren't really looking to complete anything together. Just working on a virtual farm together, that's all.

In fact... Maybe they should make it so that you can't do any of the main story quests in Co-op, and instead give us new Co-op quests, missions, etc?
