Does SV multiplayer work okay with satellite internet? 600ms ping...

I enjoy Stardew Valley, and am ready to buy the full version of the game, but just to see if 600ms ping is going to work in this game or not? I don't yet own the full game and haven't messed with multiplayer mods, LAN is out of the question because I live on a farm, lol, and civilization is far away from me. Driving into the community center to play this with high speed internet is not worth the gas money, so does satellite internet work? Really only asking this to other users who share my disadvantage of having ultra high ping. Do you still enjoy the game? It's not like it's a FPS, kinda feels more like a strategy game to me but whatever, opinions are appreciated! :)

I have satellite internet too (dunno what ping I'm afraid) and the lag made multiplayer un-useable due to the fact you loose money/energy (in stardew) if someone doesn't go to bed on time. It's a pain :(

I know its not much but hopefully SpaceX Starlink will be available in a near future for everyone. Decent internet-access should be a human right.
