What happens if players get married to each other?
Delete cabin = delete character? So you can't delete the cabin even after you get married? Meaning you'll keep living seperated?
Why not make everything shared? since it's a coop game. Shared farm, house, money, inventory, equipment, etc

You can sleep in the same bed, confirmed this today, you have a shared balance, your inventories are seperate for a REASON, a very logical reason, inventory=/= Equipment, you can't buy one backpack expecting to get it for both people because it's 'one' backpack, use logic, it's simple. As for marrying? No clue dude, get a person you trust or else it's going to be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clown fiesta.

Yea you can sleep in same bed, But can you delete the cabin of the person we married? Like what's the point of the cabin after getting married?

to keep their character saved... cabins determine how many people can join you, hence why they are a part of multiplayer. you delete the cabin, your friends character is deleted and can no longer join unless you rebuild the cabin (if there are no other cabins) and they will start from square 1

also, you can sleep in teh same bed regardless if you are married or not. 4 of my friends slept in the same bed once [pretty funny

Seems like everyone doesn't get my point. What i'm saying is, what if i want to delete the cabin? since after marrying someone, its logical to live together in the same house. I don't want some useless empty cabin to be in my farm where i could use the land for more useful thing.

I have read that Robin can build and destroy cabins, you could try finding her and speaking to her?

Yeah she could, but my friend character would get deleted too.

Ah man, that sucks. I have no idea then since I would guess that you need to have a cabin for each player to progress in the story or something.

YES, that's the problem. Glad you get my point. I want to be able to delete cabin without deleting my friend character. Since the cabin would be useless after getting married.

If you going to destory the cabin through Robin i would do it on a test co-op game. and iv seen people saying it could delete your game files if you want to try deteleing the cabin.
As for your point, i get it. Me and my partner was confused about it too, but you both can sleep in the same bed and share the same house. Sadly im just scared to delete the cabin because i dont want it to delete his save file or mess mine up.

Also question, i thought marrying another player wasnt in the game yet, how do you do it? :o

When PC Gamer first announced that the multiplayer beta was announced, they wrote that you can craft a wedding ring that you give to the other player to marry them

Find a wedding ring and right click to propose.

You can move their cabin to the very bottom or in a corner if you want, though it doesn't fix the problem.
Kronos_Baggins May 5, 2024 @ 1:50pm
You do know that you can upgrade the cabin in the same way as the main house? Meaning that you can have a second basement with kegs to age wine or cheese.
