I don't like the share money feature!
Okay I know its meant to a shared co-op experience and helping eachother and all that but sharing the same money that you've earned and it being spent by others is hella lame, especially when you have to buy upgrades twice?????? idk anyways this is still so much fun with friends and I look forward to what this amazing guy has to offer in the near future! xx

"Money that you've earned and it being spent by others"
"So much fun with friends"

Are they your friends or not? You're making them out to be useless leeches. Are you implying that you do everything and they do nothing except spend your money?

No they are my friends but I don't want to lose money because someone wants to decorate their house when i'm a grinder, if you get me, me and my friends are different people who do things differently thats all

The friend i play with talks to me and we agree on what the money gets spent on. We also divide the work up and equally earn our money. So it just depends on communication and cooperation.

So the game expects us to behave in a very particular way? Doesn't seem like that would be fun for everyone.

You need to get into the spirit of sharing, comrade. Nothing makes the dream work like teamwork

How many people complaining about shared income have been married IRL? I can only imagine having this type of discussion with my wife, I'd be divorced or at the very least on the couch for a month.

If its that big of deal to you, stockpile what you gather and sell it all at once before you want to buy something.

It expects a bare minimum of cooperation in a Cooperative environment, yes. If you and your friends cant ask if its alright to buy XYZ before doing it, as the bare minimum, then perhaps co-op games are not the type of game you should be playing together.

hope you never get married becouse it works the same way

here is an idea talk with the people you play with and share your thoughts with them if they are true friends they will tell you not to worry and that they will ask or say what they are wanting to do and why
its a good system you just need to communicate

Why are you guys comparing this to real life? this is a video game, this guy literally wishes i never get married because my opinion doesnt align with his, guys all I want is my own my money why is that a big deal? and i do have true friends dont even bother questioning that because we all help eachother its just we like our own money but we’d share it, seriously stop taking this post so serious, its just an opinion, a thought i shared, get over it.

I'm married 6 years not a lickety of problems but I dont like budgeting tbh but it needs to be done as you can imagine so why do I need to be forced to budget in a game when I want to relax from having to to that in real life.

The problem is it becomes annoying to do that everytime you go and buy something especially when someone doesn't agree with you that XYZ is a good purchase for whatever reason and then you need to justify yourself about it.

Hopefully the developers will see your comment and down the line...maybe give an option to share the money or have each person manage their own finances.

On a side note...I just want to thank the developers for the MP add and tell them they have created a really great game! Thank you...Thank you....Thank you!

It doesn't actually. Most people will have a separate bank account next to a shared one in real life.

People generally understand there's a need for some individuality in any marriage.

I totally get what some people are saying. Their friends are making bad or selfish business decisions. That's definitely frustrating. The thing is, when something goes wrong in co-op mode, short of a computer crash, it's your fault (or your friend's), not that of the game.

I'm really sorry if that statement makes you realise that you don't currently work great together... but it's not the game's fault that your friend is wasting money.

Another possible solution, is add a voting system to purchases.
