P.S. Selling unprocessed crops is bad for you. Preserves Jar makes base crops price x2 + 50g. Mean if beans sells for 40 gold/ea, you can put those in Jar for 2 days and sell those for 40*2+50= 130g. I know, there's no difference between 40 and 130 gold, but still...

I craft it whenever I can, of course, just for when you have massive fields and you can't get enough sap, I wanted to point out that it isn't worth it. Also for massive fields, it can be difficult to put it all in preserve jars or kegs because it takes heaps of resources and time. Much easier just to sell it.
It feels like they could be good for stuff like different berries or multi-harvest crops that are too cheap to be turned into goods, but, according to wiki, fertilizer affect first harvest only.
