How do I get a dinosaur?

There's an artifact you can dig/fish up called a "Dinosaur egg". Instead of donating it to the museum, put it in your incubator and you'll get a dinosaur. They also lay dino eggs, and you can donate those to the museum. I think it's most common from the fishing chests, and less commonly from digging up soil, but I could be wrong.

You get a dinosaur by hatching a dino egg obviouly.

Now getting the dino egg can be tricky since it is random when you will get it.
All I can really say is to keep on digging up the spots with the 3 brown stems and go spelunking in the mines.

Well there is a little bug that could work, some may consider this cheating. The blue wallpaper (its dark blue with white dots on it) corresponds to a dinosaur egg. So you can buy the wallpaper catalogue or just wait until pierre sells that specific wallpaper and than you can put it into an incubator. I am testing it right now and it should hatch in 2-3 days. Maybe this helps you. Seems do be a ingame bug.

Fishing is best way to get it. Wait for lucky day, eat food that increase luck and fishing, buy magnets and treasure bobber.
I got mine in 3 days like this. Don't try digging in mines, I spent 2 monthers there)
