Day 1 introductions

Basically, I want to meet everybody barring Willy on day 1 for the introductions quest. It just makes sense to me to get it out of the way ASAP, leaving as much time as possible at the end of the day.

Considering that the villagers will all be working off of the same schedule on day 1, I'm wondering if anybody has put together an optimum path, or an order of villagers to visit to make sure it gets done right away?

I've been trying to do it off the cuff, but I keep missing one or 2 people.

So I wrote up a quick order to meet everyone and get the basics done at the farm for the first day, I don't know if anyone else has any use for this stuff but it will be a good reference for me at least.

You have until 9:00 on your farm to do whatever. I used it to make a chest.
Leave through the north path to talk to Linus. Give item for 100 gold.
Enter the carpenter shop any time between 9:00 and 9:50
Talk to Robin at counter.
Talk to Demitrius in kitchen.
Talk to Maru as she leaves her room at 10:00.
Go to Pierres and talk to Gus, Marnie and Pierre.
Take this opportunity to buy seeds from Pierre.
Talk to Abigail as she enters the shop floor.
Head south, talk to Penny by the tree.
At 11:20, Hayley and Sam will leave their houses. Talk to both.
Wait a moment and Leah will appear, talk to her.
Go to the beach and grab some items.
Talk to Elliot at 12:00 on beach.
Talk to Emily at home.
Talk to Vincent and Jodi at home.
Talk to George at home.
Talk to Caroline as she leaves Pierres at 1:40
Talk to Evelyn just south of the saloon.
Talk to Harvey by tree to left of Pierres.
Talk to Jas as shes comes back home from the tree in field left of town. 3:20
Talk to Alex and Pam by the Saloon
Shane leaves Jojamart at 5:10, talk to him there.
Wait by sebastians door until 6:40 and talk to him.
7:30 talk to Clint at south bridge on way to saloon.
Rush to plant and water all seeds before bed. Use up remaining energy clearing debris.

NEED TO ADD: Collect Spring Onions.

Either way I cleared out a small space on the farm, bought some seeds from pierre, got a bunch of forage for the community projects, met everyone except Willy and the Wizard ad planted and watered all seeds. I didn't manage to get the spring onions though.

Either way, now I can happily play the game proper.

talking to them during a event does not add them to your know friends

normally sebastian is the last person i have to talk to on the first day to get that quest done (when he goes out to smoke by the lake)

So a couple of things. If you are quick you can catch Evelyn on the way to see George, which means you can catch Jas a bit earlier at the tree, which means you can catch Clint in his shop before meeting Pam. Making everything done by 6:40.

I bought 32 parsnip seeds and planted and watered all 47 of them on day one. Specifically because I wanted as much money as possible on Friday for coffee and they will sprout then.

Theres also another interesting thing. If you really want coffee or another item from the travelling cart on the first Friday, make a backup of your save after character creation, sleep until Friday and check the cart. If it has the item, reload the backup and play as normal. If not you can recreate your character and try again.
