Can't give bouquet?

When I try to give a bouquet to someone with 8 hearts (I've tried both Sam and Alex) I shows a dialogue box with them saying "yes..." and the option to give bouquet but if i choose to give the bouquet the dialogue box just come up again.
What do i do.
I'm using mods, i don't all of them but the ones i remember are...
Stardew Valley Expanded and all that is required to use it
Adarins(I think it was) Girl Mod which makes all the bachelor's, except for Shane, into girls.
Does either of them cause the bouquet to glitch out? I'm using a female character if that helps and both Sam and Alex are girls because of Adarins Girl Mod if that helps.

Well there's always a risk of ''ruining'' a game when modding... Might be one of your mods messing it up for ya :I Have you tried without mods?

Thats supposed to happen. All you have to do is give it to them, and if you look at your relation ships and you should see them as boyfriend/girlfriend if you dont then yeah, your mods might have messed up your game.

If TriAzFuzions is describing the situation accurately, I don't think that's really what's "supposed" to happen. The dialogue should be very clear that the NPC is accepting the bouqet. I've never seen anything besides the words "You want to get more serious? I feel the same way."

There may be other options that I haven't seen, granted, but "Yes..." seems very vague and non-commital.

OH i forgot that part yeah the Dialouge "Yes..." should not happen but you can keep giving bouques

I have the same problem, except with the mermaid pendant.
Edit: I managed to fix it by downloading a mod that changes the proposal dialogue.
The same thing might work for the bouqet if there's a mod for that aswell.

Fixed the problem. Remove lines 254 to 281 of the content.json in the Shiko NPC mod. That fixes the problem. Had to search in discord for a long time, and none of the guys who managed to fix it reported it to the mod creator, had to do it myself
