Haley's 6 Heart Event not happening

It's the 18th of summer in year one. I've been going to the beach between 10AM and 4PM everyday in the season so far. It won't trigger. I'm at 7 hearts now, but her 4 heart event played, even after I was at 5 hearts. So what's the problem?
EDIT: Apparently I thought I was at 7 hearts but I just now realized that the last 2 were for 9 and 10 hearts, and that they weren't the default hearts. Stupidity.

Was about to say exactly that, kek. Courted Haley today too, and ended up getting that event when i warped to the beach to gather crab pots.
