Report a translation problem
To the OP: it took me a while to get used to it, but if you can consistently keep your inventory sorted, your pickaxe and weapon will always be in the number 1 and 2 spots; I also like to manually make sure my food source is in spot #3.
If you can make that a habit, you have two options for selecting toolbelt items: to use the mouse scroll wheel, or to select the correct number from your keyboard (1, 2, or 3). That way your cursor won't be in danger of accidentally clicking on the text box.
It might take some time to get used to it, but could be worth it. I definitely remember that chatbox pop up being a problem early on. Good luck.
