Linus is becoming a Perv ! Help !

I swear this has happened in my game.

So Year 1, by the time I've watered all my crops yada yada yada my energy bar is usually very low. This playthrough I got into the habit of going to the Steam room because it restores energy at no cost (except time) and then I'm well located for the mines or fishing in the lake.

Usually Linus is one of the earlier friends - he's on the main route up to the mines, easily accessible, and he asks for help quite often.

I refuse to give townspeople stuff just to like me until I have decided on which of the ladeez will be my romantic conquest this game. To balance out I try to do every Help Quest I can (has anyone EVER dug up 35 copper for Clint ?) and try to give the best gift I can each birthday and chat when I can..

Usually Linus potters around the area need his tent. But after I started doing the steam visit regularly in my cute blue trunks I'd find Linus always apparently staring in the window of the Steam bath (men's side). If you talked to him he didn't turn towards you but carried on staring through the window. Really unnerving ...

Has this happened to anyone else ? Was it deliberately programmed in ?

Yeah, when you get the "special" bait.

With its colourful graphics and bouncy music the game would appeal to a lot of children but there are some strongly overt adult themes - alcoholism (multiple characters), absent fathers, wars, age gap relationships, snobbery (Demetrius).

for the copper for clint: i ever take out the mass clint wants to see from my storage chest. when you do it with right clicks it will count for the quest. and because you dont need to give him the copper you have again enove when he asks the next time.

Thanks Stardustfire. It didn't work for me when I tried it so I assumed it had to be mined freshly.

But its indeed a little bit ambiguous, especially when he invites you in his little tent and then the "squishing" sound start to play.
Oh man........ :D
I guess even Pelican Town is just a regular city with its own pervs&freaks.
Even the mayor uses the city funds for a golden statue of himself...
