Still, you might want to double check it? (Judging by something else you've mentioned).
And deliver some/more items to the museum.
Anyways, Stardew Valley is sandbox. Like Starbound which you can rush through in few hours.
There's no "something bigger" that you're overlooked.
Game has soft ending on Year 3 Spring 1, when you have to visit Grandpa's Shrine and get your score. After that - endless sandbox. But even if you missed something, you can summon spirit again at any time for a small price...
Marry someone and make babies, get all fish, fill museum with minerals and artifacts.
Anyways, you can goto Nexus and get as many mods as you want.
You need to find all the dwarven scrolls to speak dwarven. It unlocks a translation guide in the museum. They're an uncommon drop from slimes in the normal mines.
That thing outside the Skull Caverns... Once you get the dwarven translation guide, you can decipher a gravestone in town that tells you what to do with the altar. It gives you a very useful item, but it's not for a quest or anything; just something that'll help you in the mines a lot.
Also, have you read all the library books? There's a few that give hints about some "secrets", although some of them can be figured out without the book. There's one in particular that will unlock 3 unique decorative statues for your farm, if you can figure out what to do from the book's hints.
There's also a "secret" quest line that begins in the tunnel west of the bus. It unlocks a new area with a shop, and a new minigame.
Have you found all the secret notes? They also unlock some new cutscenes, cosmetics and money.
