how to cheese stardew for free steam money with the steam grand prix!

Hey so since stardew doesn't have have mods built into steam i figured id point you guys in the right direction for how to get some of that sweet sweet Gabe money!

Im using a combination of both a stardew mod and cheat engine.
the reason im using cheat engine is because it allows you to speed hack the game allowing you to speed the entire process up by a ton.

step 1) download SMAPI from the link below and run the executable for your OS

step 2) after running SMAPI locate your stardew valley system files
(for windows its at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley")

step 3) download the "CJB Cheats Menu" from the link below

step 4) extract the files for CJB into the the mods folder for stardew valley)
(On windows this is located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods" after installing SMAPI)

step 5) while in stardew press P, go into the fishing section of the menus and change the following settings
set "instant bite" to true
set "instant catch" to true
set "always throw max distance" to true

if you want to speed things up, then keep reading!

spam click near a river and get fish!

step 6) from the link below download cheat engine and run it (after installation)

step 7) click the icon in cheat engine that looks like a computer with a magnifying glass over it
now in the pop up menu click the program titled "running stardew vally... with 3 mods"

step 8) on the right side of cheat engine you will see a tick box that says "enable speed hack"
set this to true, and drag the slider under it to a value of somewhere between 10 and 20.(click apply)

step 9) in stardew valley find a fishable water source and spam click you mouse as you get hundreds of fish per minute!( depending on your click speed)

Leaves out the part where you have to buy a bunch of games to raise your capacity if you don't have any left. This is the same stupid thing people are falling for with starbound then realizing when they buy the game they not getting any points.

All anyone needs to do to get a lot of points fast (if you have points left to get) is pick any games you have with a lot of achievements unlocked and idle in it for 30 min, then exit and claim your achievement points.

true, but I've already spent money in the summer sale. as most have I'm sure!
I mean with this you're already getting quite a bit. to expect much more is a bit much yeah? summer sales are crazy good anyhow.

apparently but they dont know they have to spend to earn it in the first place so hat off to valve. and u dont have to farm u just can trade in your achievements.

I read the rules on the event. There is nothing saying we cant cheat. They would specify if that was such that's what they do on their other games.

Even if you Cheat the only way that is a use to you is if you spend alot of money. Valve Wont care that your paying them $150 for a $5 coupon.

Yup it costs $150 US to get a $5 coupon. Unless you started with a lot of max points or are buying games from the sale and happen to get enough for one, it's completely foolish to buy stuff to try and get one.

or you can earn it though multiple days... i spend 10$ and get 6000+ per day. right now im half way to a 5$ and ive spent only 10$ I as a child, only have 15$ left in my bank account. meaning that with this ill be able to spend more money on the last day of the sale. its not a net profit but it is a overall saving.

$10 is only 1k tokens though as $1 = 100 points.

No, it’s not a bit much to expect more. Many of us remember when the sales were actually crazy good-up to 75% off isn’t “crazy good” when we used to get games 90% off or more. Not to mention the fact that companies refuse to drop the base price for most of the games specifically because they know the next Steam sale is coming within 3-4 months and they can just “put it on sale”.

only thing i purchased during the sale was a software called asprite for 11$ it says i make 6423 per day max. not sure where all it gets the numbers from. But thats just what it is.

You probably just had those points from the start. Your purchase couldn't have given you more than 1100 points (=1100 tokens). Max points don't reset each day.
