I lost my iridium hoe, scythe, pickaxe and axe

Help! I lost my iridium hoe, scythe, pickaxe and axe. I lost them when I stored them on a chest box before entering the night market, after the night market ended the chest box was not there to be found and all my tools where missing. I waited for the next day hoping that I could found them in the refrigerator or that the mayor would bring them in or send me and email, but nothing has happened. After waiting for 4 days I've got mad and didn't want to play anymore this game. Also, because there is no way for me to play it, unless I start a new one, which I don't want to. Today I've tried again for another day, I even placed another chest box by the beach, hoping they would re-appeared. I played another couple of days, but nothing. How can I get back this tools? IF there is no way to get them back, I don't think I will play ever again with this game.

do you mean the box outside the farmhouse?

if you have stored the tools in chests outside of your farm and and placed the chest in the path of a npc it gets destroyed. sometimes events can destroy chests too. when this happened your items are lost forever, the major wont send you any tools.

as far as i know you cant buy tools. (could be wrong tho never really paid attention to it but my best bet would be the blacksmith)

however, you could spawn them via item spawner mod.

next time only keep valuable items in chests at your farm. you live and learn i guess.

I can only see two option to get a fresh set of tools :
- modding your game to install an item spawner
- build a farmhand house, invite someone, have him drop his tool in a chest, get them in said chest.

If you build a farmhand house, check the dresser inside, that should give you replacement tools.
The dresser is the farmhands inventory when they are offline.
