its not. its a video game and not the real world, deal with it. furthermore there are mods which fix your and other peoples issues in game if vanilla doesnt provide whatever you want. i dont really see the problem here.

Lol, chill. It really can't be difficult to provide more customisation options. I don't care if a game doesn't have options for people with certain issues and/or afflictions or whatever, but being bald is an option in pretty much every game with a customisation option. Hell even no mans sky lets you be bald.

There's no reason why it shouldnt be an option when every other hairstyle, skin colour or clothing option is there.

I don't want the mod, all I'm saying is; there's no reason the game shouldn't have a bald option. Please don't get yourself worked up over this simple discussion LOL. There's no pleasing people like you, who expect the community to fix the game. It's always "oh theres a mod to fix xyz". It shouldn't be that way, thats why EA, Bethesda and Activision brings out unfinished trash lol. They know the players will just fix their mess. I'm not saying Stardew Valley is at that extent, I love the game, but a bald option is literally such a tiny detail it should be there by default.

Making characters in a game start bald, the hair is a detail that is added later on a character model/sprite during game development. Considering you can change the hairstyle just proves that point, otherwise you'd get horrible overlaps.

Maybe its a style choice, I don't know and like I said before, I don't care. My opinion still stands; there's no reason it shouldn't be an option in the game. There's no reason you should be getting so over this.

Yep, bald and some other new hairstyles will be in the upcoming 1.4 update. Some can be seen in an image in ConcernedApe's Twitter.
