If i'm playing female, I always buy the pink cowboy hat, since it reminds me of a girl I knew when I was but a wee lad. German girl, German name, German temperment...yet dressed like a Texan when we were both around the age of eight.

Anyway, I like the variety of hats and bows, even if they don't really do anything, stat-wise. I just always wonder how the hats stay on when you're swinging that axe...

hats are a reward for unlocking achievements.

Thus, introducing an achievement for getting all the hats would create a causality paradox that would rip apart the universe, like dividing by zero.
