I can't hang up the calendar!!

So I bought the calendar for 2000 gold for the convenience of being able to look at it from home. Small problem: I can't hang the stupid thing up! It says "place only on wall" but every time I do, it doesn't work. It gives me a red square. I've tried every wall in the house. Help!

Try hanging it like. 2 inches above where you're trying.

If you're playing with a controller, you'll likely need to use a mouse to actually hang wall items.

Using the right analog stick should work as a mouse cursor.

Thank you very much! Yes, I am using only a controller for this game. That's why I was having trouble. (I got so frustrated I shoved the calendar in the fridge!)

I realize this is an old thread. But further to this topic... Thank you also! I was having troubles placing the calendar on the wall with my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and finally was able to accomplish this by facing the wall and with calendar selected in the hot bar.. holding the right analog stick forward while pressing the A key.. this made the calendar appear and then i could move it to the position on the wall where i needed it and locked it on the wall with the Y key. Very frustrating indeed! I hope this is fixed in the new version for the Nintendo Pro Controller users out there.

Glad to hear it! I played with a gamepad myself, and maybe it's not the most optimal thing to do, but it was my preferred method anyway.
