Also does your "mother" have any other part than helping you and your farm by gifting you cookies and gold??

I'm only on Year 2 nearing the end of fall but at the beginning of year 2 Kent comes back and joins the village, he's Jodi's hubby.

Grampappy's shrine to the far left says something spooky is gunna happen on year 3 so there's also that.

The town is pretty static after the first 2 years, nobody dies or gets older and afaik you mother just sends gifts in the mail
