Where can I find the Catfish, Sunfish, and the Shad

I've been fishing for a while in the river under Marnie's ranch and have only found Pikes and Chubs. Am I fishing in the wrong place?

It all depends on when you fish. There is a Wiki you can get for your mobile device that is free, it has information about what, where, and when certain fish can be found.

catfish and I think shads require rain. during the summer, catfish can only be caught in the secret woods

sunfish are pretty common, just fish in the river during spring or summer on a sunny day
