Planting crops exactly 'x' days before season ends
I want to plant pumpkin seeds, they take 13 days to mature. I'm in the 15th day of fall. Would they mature on the 28th or would the crops be ready on the first of winter (meaning they die)?

I was going to use 'Speed Gro' to make sure they were done in time, but i already had fertilizer in the ground. Apparently you can't get rid of the fertilizer. The fertilizer resets when the season ends.

Edit:

I'm an idiot LOL. The reason I just didn't use the speed gro on unfiltered soil was because I setup alot of sprinklers to do all the watering for me. So I don't do any watering.

In hindsight I couldve created more sprinklers and used speedgro on a new patch of soil.

Make sure they're watered and they should grow, I think... I always give myself a buffer day just in case.

You can hit the tile with the pickaxe to return it to untilled soil and remove whatever soil additive was there. Then till the soil again and add a different additive. In your case though, you should be fine provided you water on the day you plant so Speed-Gro shouldn't be necessary.

As people have said, if you have the exact number of days left then they will be ready provided you water them. If you leave them for sprinklers in unwatered soil then they won't get watered until the next day and so you'll be one day short.
