I just remember being confused about the controls when I first started, and had trouble figuring out how to use things. I kept moving my furniture and putting it in my pocket. Total hot mess. Probably wasted half the day just trying to figure out how to put stuff back down and get out of the house! Your first instinct is to left click on everything to interact, sometimes.
