Possible annoying pet solution?
Allright, so I´ve completely had it with these annoying pets in this game. During one of my sessions that stupid dog got stuck on my chest and I wasn´t able to either open the chest or push the dog aside. By some dumb luck the dog eventually got stuck somewhere else so I could use the chest again.

However, it made me wonder if I could trap the dog outside or something without being penalised for it. Does anyone know if the game will punish you if you trap your pet to keep it out of the way?

It won't, and next playthrough simply decline the pet.

Ah thanks, it was my first playthrough so I didn't know that they would become so frustrating to deal with haha!

My dog only annoyed me once by blocking the little hallway to get into my bedroom to sleep. I had to keep "pushing" him until he moved far enough away. I wish you could just run through the pets, like with other npcs. They seem to teleport inside and outside of the house though, as I've never once seen them walk in or out of the front door.

He did make me laugh by getting stuck on top of the cabinets in the kitchen one day, though. Stayed up there the entire day, running into the side of the fireplace then just sleeping up there.

there's no way to trap them, though if there was there wouldn't be a penalty

Basically works the same, but the chests have to be empty before you can move them.

Hahaha seems like I'm not he only one with pet problems! But yeah, I noticed that the dog indeed teleported inside unfortunately, even though I did trap it.

I haven't had a single problem with my dog. It's funny, but now I'm waiting to start having a hell of a time with him.

Oh so true, but I need to experience something new since I play the game in such a boring manner.
