The best way to casual play Stardew
I met this game yesterday, instantly fell in love with It being a huge fan of Harvest Moon series, It seens to be very near of what I've been looking for about farming sims in the last years (a MMO would be nice, though), but I'm overwhelmed with tons of info I've found on the internet about this game and It's HUUUUGE depth. I don't have much free time nowadays to play a game like this and I even uninstalled It. But It got me I'm going to let go all those guides, unlocks, max achievements and stuff and play this just as light as possible, like I played my very first HM back on SNES.

So, I would like to ask if there's any path that is more indicated, as I've seen there are new kinds of farms, would one of them have less hustle? I'm not looking to be a huge farming tycoon, but I also would not like to miss a great chunk of the gaming experience. What would you nice guys recommend?

hello mate, well personally i'd suggest the classic map since you you can do pretty much anything you want with it, but it does take a good ol fix'er up. Other than that the forest lands makes the game really easier(in my opinion at least) since all you gotta do is pick fruits up and such and the farming space is....decent i guess. The river lands are cool as well since they make fishing a bit easier, and everyone knows fishing is a pretty good and easy way for makin' dat paper! i don't like the monster lands and rocky lands since they kinda ruin the whole farming thing for me . If you want the full package i suggest the classic land. if you want the game to be a bit easier, then go with the forest lands, the river lands are kinda as easy but yeah , i just don't like'em, you might tho.

Thanks a lot, m8! :D I'll look forward to that forest land... I saw a guy around here talking about a Tree's farm for fruit and wood or a beer/wine way. I'll check those options, thanks!

If anyone has something to add, please.

Very hard to "recommend" anything when the whole game is casual unless you choose to make it hard on yourself. There's no "path" either. You can get married etc. but they are "events" rather than goals and the entire game can generally be played with/without most events. (A few secrets need some work but the game doesn't suffer their absence).

You won't be "hussled" because you are not compelled to do anything in SDV and there are no penalties for doing nothing (what is under time constraint is redoable). You can even concentrate on any one income stream and ignore the rest of the game if you wish.

This game is already so casual that if it wasn't, it'd be a deliberate act. :steamhappy:

Yeah... I'd say, slow down, play a day or two at a time, and try not to stress about doing everything.

If you want a more "casual" map, I'd suggest trying the Forest map (which is more focused on Foraging).

I'm doing exactly this, I started a Forest Map and I'm playing with no guides, no pressure for quests, social or other stuff. Thanks!

There can only be one true advice in that part:
There is no time limit. There are no permanently missable things. Stop min/maxing, caring about anything and just play how you feel.

That's a good advice. I think less hustle keep things at ease and can let people restart the game without thinking they will have a hard time.
