If I find another I'm happy to trade you it for a prehistoric hand or scalpula, which are the two last I need. ;)
Is that fishing anywhere or just at the beach?
but sold it instead of donating to the museum
just go fishing, use the treasure tackles if you're desperate
I decided to start looking for videos online to see if I could find visual proof of someone digging up a nautilus fossil and found none. There are several videos of people finding them in fishing chests but none from digging which lead me to believe all wikis and forum posts stating they can dug up are incorrect. I started fishing on the beach pier in the section you have to build a bridge to reach. After one day of fishiing with a treasure bobber and bait, I acquired the nautilus fossil.
I recommend fishing for it, digging is a myth.
Even if you could dig one up, I don't know why you'd bother.
Those are Nautilless shells, not Nautilles fossils.
