It won't let me plant coffee beans?
So I got a coffee bean awhile back and just now decided to grow some more beans, however it's not letting me plant the bean anywhere at all. I know that you need 5 beans to make coffee in a keg, but I can't imagine that applies to the initial planting as well considering that would completely negate the 4 bean yield after growth, so what gives? Am I doing something wrong and I'm just a dumby?

Maybe you're in the wrong season? I think coffee beans are only spring and summer.

Tried that already as well as going to the next day, but to no avail :( everything else plants just fine though

It planted fine for me. To plant you need 1 bean, tilled soil, everything usual...

Weird.. I wonder why it won't let me plant them then. I guess something must've went and messed up in my files or something, cause I just can't plant the bean at all like I would any other seed

Well, what happens when you try and plant it? Some kind of in-game message or sound effect?

Try verifying your game cache or whatever. Right-click SV in your library, go into Settings or something and look for "Verify game cache". It should make sure everything's in proper order.

Did you maybe edit a save file, or have any mods that might have messed this up?

Well, I would try to plant it like I normally would with another crop. Normally when you would do that the crop on your cursor would go from greyed out to opaque to indicate that it can be used/planted, but with coffee bean it just stays greyed out and won't do anything besides that.

As far as I know, no. The only mods I do have should have absolutely no effect on crops or anything of the sort, but I'll see if I can clean something in the files up

I reinstalled a clean game and the coffee beans now plant normally, so something must've happened to mess with just the coffee beans? Very odd. Regardless, thanks for the suggestions everyone!
