Sunfish... in the Ocean?

So, I've just started a new game, it's day 2, and I went down to the docks to get my fishing rod. The first time I cast it, off of the pier, I get a Sunfish- for those unfamiliar with it, the description is "A common river fish."... that I found in the ocean. Em, wut?

I think that no matter where you cast the first time you cast it's just automaticaly a sunfish.

Fair enough, but I'm fairly certain that, in 1.0, it was a sardine or anchovy that I got, on multiple games.

I always cast into the oceon on my first cast and I have never gotten a anchovy or sardine. I'ts always after the first cast. Every first cast I get a sunfish.

The first catch is always a sunfish beside that nornal fish

there are ocean sunfish, but they are huge. not the type in this game.

when i was a kid we would catch "sunnies" in lakes. off the dock.

they are nasty... if you spit in the water, they would pop up and try to eat it. we started to joke that you could catch them with anything... so, my buddy tried a cigarette butt... it worked.

nasty little things.
