strange building in the upper right corner of farm?

so i got married and its year one in fall and suddenly theres a strange small building in the upper right corner, it has a tiny door and a weird white symbol above it, almost looks like an ingot but not quite. what the heck is this?

oh really? i thought that was what was inside the house not a building seperate from the house? am i wrong there?

There's their room, and then there's the little relaxation outdoor area they also have.

Shane has a small chicken coop. Every so often you'll see him old there holding his favorite hen, Charlie.

For comparison, Alex lifts weights, Abigail plays her flute, and Sebastian works on his motorcycle.

oh so you can see them when they are over there? do they just loiter outside it?

Shane does. Everyone else is inside the square, I think. Shane might not do it if you block the path to it...

i had cleared the area around it when it showed up cuz i wasnt sure what it was, i actually saw him there it was cute. he just stands there with his chicken doing squats lol
