Birthday Gifts?
Do birthday gifts add to the 2 gifts per week, or would it count as a seperate gift? It's been a while and i forgot. (Don't tell me to use the wiki because it does not work for me.)

I believe it counts as a gift for the week. However if you already gave two that week she or he will still accept it and it will count.

Actually you can give it to them even if you have given them 2. (I seriously had no idea before just checking the wiki)

If you gift it when there is an open gift slot then it will use the gift slot, but if you already have both slots filled then you can give the birthday gift as an extra slot. So it's best to give two gifts before thier birthday that week whenever it's doable.

Depends on what you mean, you can run out of health or energy and get consequences depending on the location. But nothing permanent, you just end up with a few less items.

You'll pass out and wake up in Harvey's clinic. I'm not sure if you still lose random items or just money now, but I think it's money... Too many people lost stacks of 50 bombs, or their galaxy sword, so I'd imagine CA changed it...

you can still lose items as well as memory of your last several levels, unfortunately.

Huh. I would think it would be to lose some items, at least, rather than a stack, but... *shrug* I never die anyways, but that seems pretty harsh. At least you can re-buy the galaxy sword, now. But losing 999 stones or 140 iron ore would suck.

I think he made it so that losing the galaxy sword is impossible.

I've lost an entire stack of like 80+ blueberries once, I just quit out of the game at that point rather than saving.
Iron Monkey Nov 24, 2016 @ 2:32pm
Yea I just quit if I happen to pass out in mine, though it will probably never happen more than a handful of times. Better to lose a day of work than the loss of stack of items or tools where you have tto spend days/weeks building them back up to what type they were, not to mention not being able to use them in that time.

Another question, if you reached 4 hearts with a marriage candidate, then gave them the birthday gift before you trigger the 4 heart cutscene, will the cutscene still trigger even after you passed 6 hearts relationship (Loved birthday gift increases hearts by 3)

Yeah, you can view the scenes in any order. When 1.1 came out, lots of people already had Shane and Emily at 10 hearts, so they were kinda confused...

thanks man. I just wish you could have everyone as a marriage candidate (Exept Vincent and Jas)

Well Robin and Demetrius are married, as are George and Evelyn... Jodi and Kent... and Pierre and Caroline... Mayor Lewis and Marnie are a couple... That leaves Willy, Gus, Linus. A crusty old man, a hobo and a 30ish year old bartender. I think CA is trying to lean away from marrying the elderly and shopkeepers, or else Gus and Sandy could potentially be candidates.
