How do I get these 3 gold star fishes?

Hi !!

I've ben trying to get these 3 fish with a gold star. I tried everything I can think of.

Scorpion Carp
Sandfish
Angler (legendary fish)

It's always silver star, no matter the skill level, baits, rod, etc.
Anyone know how to fish them with a gold star on it?

Keep trying, that's pretty much all you can do, gold stars start showing up when you raise level and keep trying

I know that. I have all possible fishes at 3 stars. It's not what I'm asking. I don't think it's possible to catch these 3 at a gold star level. Only the Angler is possible I think, and since you can only fish it once, you can't fish it many times to get a gold star.

I have not fished anything than gold star since year 2, I'm in year 6, the whole game has been completed. It just seems that scorpion carp and sandfish are impossible to catch a gold star, no matter where you position yourself around the desert pond.

As for the angler, I would have to restart the day over and over again in order to catch the gold star angler... I wonder where is the exact spot on the plank where you get the gold star.

I think the 2 fish from the desert are impossible to get with a golden star. That is because the pond is too small. Quality of fish depends on how far away from walkable land you cast the rod.

The Angler is definitely possible. I caught him with a gold star standing on the bridge in the north-east part of the town. Cast up and you have a fair chance of getting a gold star. No guarantee, though.

Thanks. So I wasn't crazy about the two desert fish. The Angler is a pain though having to restart the day over and over. But I'm happy to know it's possible for that one.
