The only way I'm able to get 2 pendants is with cheats. I tried getting 2 playing the game normally, and it never let me buy a second one :(

I had the ability to get a second one when I proposed; there was a rainy day while engaged, and I talked to the Old Mariner, and he was willing to sell a second. I guess because I wasn't yet married, had a candidate up to 10 hearts, and didn't have a mermaid's pendant.

Well I did try that. On a rainy day, I bought the pendant, then offered it to Shane. I wasn't married yet, I went back to the mariner same day with the rain, and he had a message saying I had to get married and congratulated me. I couldn't buy a second one. I was lucky enough to have another rainy day before the wedding... went back to him, and still couldn't buy a second one.

I wonder how you did it. There's an exploit that I haven't tried which requires you to have full inventory backpack, with no space available. You go buy the pendant and drop it on the floor, and you can't pick it up because of the full inventory. You can then buy multiple pendants. I've seen DF do it on YouTube. But I don't wanna use that exploit.
