Do different characters like different gems?

I hate to use a guide for a game like this, but I need to figure this out. Do different characters like different types of gemstones, or do only some of the characters like most of the gemstones?

For example, I know Emily likes amethyst. Would, then, Jodi or Abigail or someone also have a favorite gemstone? Or am I just overthinking this and some of the characters (e.g. Clint) like gemstones in general?


Keep in mind I'm only asking for a yes or no here, not which characters like what specific gems. In other words, no spoilers please. :)
